Our Noosa Flexi team proudly represented our school at this year’s Rice Cup Touch Football Carnival in Brisbane, demonstrating outstanding determination, sportsmanship, and teamwork throughout the day.
With an early start and a trip to Brisbane ahead of us, the team arrived ready to compete and gave their all, playing five 20-minute games. In an incredible display of resilience, our players competed for most of the day without any substitutes, never giving up and continuing to support one another on and off the field.
The team enjoyed a successful carnival, winning three games and scoring plenty of impressive tries along the way. More importantly, they displayed what we believe was the best team spirit of the entire tournament. The camaraderie, encouragement, and respect shown between players was outstanding and reflected the strong connections that have been built through their commitment to training and preparation leading up to the event.
Our staff were extremely impressed by the pride, passion, and dedication shown by every player. Their positive attitude, willingness to work hard for each other, and commitment to representing Noosa Flexi with pride made the day a great success.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Gympie Flexi for participating in two trial games with us prior to the carnival, which helped our team prepare for the competition. A special thank you also goes to Albert Park Flexi for allowing two of their young people to join our team during the carnival, providing us with much-needed substitutes and embodying the true spirit of the Rice Cup.
