Principal’s Welcome

Welcome to Noosa Flexible School

Welcome to Noosa Flexi, a school where relationships come first and young people are met with respect, empathy and high expectations.

At Noosa Flexible Learning School, we work alongside young people who may not have found success in traditional educational settings.

Our campus offers a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where students can re-engage in learning, build confidence and discover their unique pathway forward. We recognise that success looks different for everyone and that learning only happens when people feel seen, heard and valued.

We are part of Edmund Rice Education Australia’s Flexible Schools network, which operates across the country and is committed to Liberating Education through the values of Liberating Education, Gospel Spirituality, Inclusive Community, Justice and Solidarity. At Noosa Flexi, this means no uniforms, no compulsory fees and no rigid rules, but a strong focus on our four principles: Respect, Participation, Honesty and Being Safe and Legal. These principles guide every interaction and shape the kind of community we build together.

Our staff are educators, youth workers, wellbeing specialists and mentors. More importantly, we are co-learners, walking beside young people on their journey, not ahead of them. Whether it’s through project-based learning, accredited programs, outdoor education, creative arts or structured wellbeing support, we provide flexible options that meet young people where they’re at. We know that school isn’t just about academics, it’s about identity, belonging, relationships and hope.

If you’re a young person, family member or community partner exploring our school for the first time, I invite you to connect with us. Come and see the way our programs blend curriculum with care, structure with flexibility and rigour with empathy.

We’re not trying to ‘fix’ students. We’re building the right conditions for them to thrive.

Thanks for taking the time to learn about Noosa Flexi. We’re proud of who we are and even prouder of the young people we work with every day.

Warm regards,

Daniel Parkinson
Head of Campus
